Just another Tiger, this kit is dragon's old production JagdTiger model. It has a aber metal barrel, fruilmodel tracks, aber photoetch. The tank was finished in ambush paint, using tamiya paints, Windser Newton oils, and pastels to make it complete.

Robert,
I see spots.
Nice ambush scheme. How about treating us to a few more shots?

Looks great! Great paint job. Even though I have never done any German tanks so don't know much about them. I hope to do a Jagdtiger like yours or Jagdpanzer one day.

nice looking Jagd.. what a lethal looking beast!
I've been reading in the Ampersand Modelers Guide to the Jagds that the Jordi Rubio barrel and the Anvil resin barrel are too short, modeled on the JT at Aberdeen where the gun is locked in recoil.
I'm leaning toward either the Eduard or Aber for my JT.
How did you like the Aber barrel?
Any fit issues?
Is the barrel end rifled?

Excellent work on your Jagdtiger. The 'ambush' scheme you did is fantastic. Tracks look great too.
How come you left off the gun travel lock ?
Great work !!!
Cheer !!

By far the Aber barrel is the way to go. It fit like a glove, and yes the barrel is rifled as well which makes for a good look.

Just put a gouge where a tank shell may have glanced off,and destroyed the travel lock, and you are good to go.Nice camo job. (++) (++)
