Hey guys! I just got my 1/72 Jumbo almost done. This kit was ok to build, but I will wait for UM to release theirs if I want to build any more shermans. The kit's tracks didn't come with grousers, so I used the smallest channel stock I could find to make them. I added a few other small details like making the raised mounts for the gun lock, and some details on the suspension units. I painted it with 2 shades of MM Acryl OD to get the pre-shade effect. Now all it needs are decals, oil-wash and dry-brush. Looking foreward to your comments guys!

Good use of channel stock. I need to file that trick into the old memory banks for when I build mine.

Nifty looking tank for any scale, and especially so for braille scale! Look forward to see more shots after the markings and weathering are added.

Well here are the finished pics. Kit decals, umber oil wash, and a very light drybrush.

Very nice. Great use for the channel stock as well. I used something simular for guide teeth on my Merkava build. Thanks for sharing. "Q"

Really like your model. But I have one question for all of you. What's a "channel stock". I would like to make the duckbills, so try to explain in simple English, please.

Channel stock is a sort of strip styrene that is shaped in an elongated U.
