Couple of updated shots of my Kettenkrad. Weathering is all done, need to add some stowage yet, and I think the figures still need a little work!

Any comments welcomed, as ever

Splendid whitewash on a small kit. Tamiya, right?

Can't comment on the figure since it's not done yet.

Some good work there mate.

Cheers,

Thanks Mondo. It's actually the Dragon kit, quite a nice build apart from the individual track links...

I hope to start with the oils on the figures tomorrow. Haven't tried that before so should be interesting!

Ciao Ripster,
I like it a lot! The figures are going to come out great, I bet. One thing I noticed is that the overall appearance of the Ket is too white. I don't know if it's the flash or just my old eyes. Unless this thing is one completely frozen snow, there would probably be some mud or dirt marks on the running gear and front wheel. Plus, you might want to think about a wash on the topside just to pick out the small details.
Just suggestions, of course. Keep us posted on this small gem.
Ciao for now
Rob

I think some of that may be down to the flash as you say. Will try to get some daylight pics done instead. You're right about the running gear too - my plan is to put the model into a dio later, so I'll weather the lower half then to blend it into the scene.

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Ciao Ripster,
No problem. I thought it might have been the flash.
Ciao for now
