That will be one heck of a kit. Too bad only the hard core modelers here in Canada will be able to afford it. It already costs 59.99 for the old Tamiya mid pro kit. So I figure this will run about 100......plus tax.

I highly doubt it. The kit will have the same price as DML Tiger I Initial and this means about $32 in the USA. It is less than the price of Tamiya kit.

Not to steal the thunder from the German guys but does anybody know anything about the M4A3E8 listed on that page? It says it's a "DX05" special. Does that mean you can only get it at the show? Is this different from the E8 they've been talking about coming out with for a while?

Roger, from what I understand it is their new E8 with special decals so you can make Albin F. Irzyk's tank. He is a Brigadier General (retired), who will be one of the guests at DXPO. I know Dragon has said they will make some of these available to vendors at the show.

All I know is, I already have my Dragon Tiger I Lates on pre-order in 2 different locations. I cant wait for them to arrive. Check out that update on the Dragon site !
At first, I was just going to stock them, as I already have the Tamiya Tiger I Late kit, but after getting the Dragon Tiger I Initial in, and taking one for myself, I changed my mind after a little bit of decision
Then, eyeballing the Dragon site updates on a daily basis, pushed my decision over the edge.
Dragon is doing alot of good things for the armor modeller these days, both in 1/72 and 1/35th. This new Tiger I late kit is no exception.
Will a Sturmtiger be in the works too ? Hmm
Cheers !!

I have mine on pre-order from VLS as well, and as long as they do not screw the pooch as they have too many times recently with other pre-orders I should be all set.
I am really looking forward to this kit.

I've had mine on pre-order from SCALEHOBBY for about a 2 months now. What really burns my biscuts is that my boss had me going through Atlanta on the 20-21 and at the last minute cnacelled my trip. So now instead of buying more toys for me, I guess I'll use the money to buy SWMBO an anniversary present. :-) :-)

Dragon also has 2 kits not really mentioned on this site .One is a sherman the other a panzer IV/70. The box art has what i assume is the tank commanders pictured on it. Great Models has both but very expensive, around $40. bucks. Anybody know whats special about these kits, why so expensive?

Cach7, my guess and I emphasize guess is that these are the two kits that are being offered at the show. They are mentioned on the site I put the link to; Johann Huber's Pz IVL/70, and as I mentioned in another post above, Albin F. Irzyk's M4A3E8. Dragon has said they will make a limited number of these kits available to vendors at the show, Great Models will be there. So they are probably hoping to get a few to sell to some of their web custmers.

Armorman,
Beside the fact that this may be one of the few kits out there that you might not need to purchase photo-etch for, this post should be in the Buy/Sell forum. I believe you've been told about this before??
Cheers,
Mike
