All I can say is, you darned right. (It is a family show here...)

This is my WOLF 1/35 scale Soviet Female Sniper ala WWII. She is in the standard one-piece sniping smock with the "spinach" cammo pattern.

She was a resin figure but the gun and arm with it were molded in white metal. I thought the white metal would be noticably cruder, but once painted, nope.

She was done in acryliics (Tamiya, PollyS), highlighted with drybrushing, shadowed with pigments, and given some depth with pastels. Coated first with tinted Future Floor Polish and then dull coated. A little more pastels for weathering, a little more future for the metal parts of the gun and Viola!

I have to say i am darned proud of her! Anyone want her phone number?? :-)

I like the face. I'll defer on he smock. The gun looks heavy and over scale, sculpting issue, not yours. I also like the backdrop. The left fingers look either too even or too splayed. Again the casting, not your work.

Excellent piece of work Jacques. I'm not about the phone number, she'll probably bring the gun, when dating.

I agree with Jesper; excellent piece of work!
She looks very good, although I do also agree with Al that the gun that looks rather big (or perhaps it's a big gun for her when she is a small woman, like mine 1,64 m SWMBO).
Not out for her number, I prefer redheads

Yeah, I think the rifle may be 1:32...it does seem a bit oversize, even though she is a small figure next to the "standard" DML german soldiers. Though, the real rifle was a bit of a beast...

As for the sculpted fingers, they do look better in the figure than in the photo...might be the angle of the pic or something...not as noticable in real life.

I do not think she would bring the rifle on a date...probably hand grenades and a bayonet...

Big gun, small lady. Looks good, man! As for a date...I've dated tougher and I'm with the toughest so I don't think it would work out. :-)
