G'day oh learned Armorama types....
Can anybody tell me if Friul make a set of tracks suitable for Dragons' Jagdtiger ? (kit 6050).
I have just used Friuls for the first time on my Jagdpanther and was really impressed.....
Thanks

Yes, they make 3 sets. FALT-37 are the late single type with 18 tooth drive sprocket, FALT-41 are the earlier multiple piece battle tracks and FALT-42 are late transport tracks.
Cheers!

Did the Kingtiger and Hunting Tiger use the same track? (or in German Koenigstiger and Jagdtiger)

Hey Robert,
SPECTACULAR job on the Jagdtiger mate, looks magnificent.
Can you remember which set you used for it ?
Do you have any tips how to achieve that superb paint job ? I'm a bit worried about how to approach the "Autumn" camo scheme.....
Thanks

I have been looking around for the box and i just can't find it. I will keep looking i got that set from mission models or you can get them from discountmodels. When painting your Jagdtiger things to remember is the more random the better. If you are using an airbrush make sure to thin the paint. To achieve the look that my model has: I used Tamiya dark yellow then i mix in flat white and gloss which makes for a great base color. Then for the camo i just use the paint straight out of the bottle. For that camo i used testors panzer green, and testors panzer brown. The dots were applied with a tooth pick that was cut to the right diameter. Once it was painted i used burnt umber for the wash, then i used i mix of oil paints to due the high lights. Once that was done i did the sub- structor. Added dirt and grime then i dried brush that. Once done with that i used pastels to finish it off. Hope this helps any other questions just ask?
