Hello All.
I'm assuming the Revell Famo has link and length tracks. That being the case, has anyone attempted fitting them to any of the Hasegawa SdKfz 7 series ( to replace those awfully thick polythene ones of course)?
I'm quite fond of this series of half-tracks, but apart from how bad the supplied tracks look, they alter the 'sit' of the vehicle as well. If the Famo tracks aren't suitable, can anyone offer an 'economical' alternative?
Thanks fellas,
Adrian

The only replacement tracks I have seen in the net are made by Tracks n Troops based in Belgium at present.
I say at present as according to the website the business is changing hands in the near future but may be worth an enquiry.

the new Trumpeter Famo has individual link track. The links are 2 pieces each. It also comes with 3 rummer tires as well. Very nice kit.

Thanks Mark and Winston for your helpful replies. I was beginning to think I was the only one that had considered this!

One of the guys in my club is doing a Trumpeter vesrion for review. We took a good look at it the other day before he started and not only does it have individual link track but it also has a detailed engine and hood that allows it to be show if you choose, along with a tow cable and bar and markings for 2 Stug regimennts. I think this is a really good kit by Trumpeter. WOW
