First off DML are correct on having the stowage bins on both sides of the turret on Tiger 100.the photo of Tiger 100 captured by the russians seems to be missing the right hand side stowage bin,if you look close you can see were it had been,as there is still the brackets pointing out.

I dont think you will find any better photos of this Tiger,as i and most that i know who have modeled this beast carnt find a picture of her when she was new.
Hope this helps.
cheers

Joe, the intial Tigers did have screens, there is a photo of Tiger 100 in Red Square and you can clearly see the screens. I used eduard screens on my Tiger's and they fit just fine. Have heard the Aber ones are oversized, but have not got any to check on this.

There are some tips about the Tiger here, including a section about this kit.

There are no problems with tracks in this kit that I'm aware of. I assembled them and started painting yesterday. Not even one link has cracked or broke.

Hi Erizemen,
Thnx for sharing your pics. May I make a few suggetions on items I noticed?

1) You can get rid of the "silvering" beneath your decals by applying them over a glossy surface. Once applied, use a flat coat over the model.

2) your commander's cupola is oriented in a way that wasn't on the real thing. It couldn't rotate. Yours opens at about 95 degrees. Its hinge should be at about 45 degrees.

3) the part that you have attached to the side of your cupola should jut above. It was a part for the hatch to rest upon.

4) maybe tone down the amount of rust as well?
