As promised, here are some closer pics of the model. I think the camera picked up alot of stuff that is a bit more muted in reality, ie paint chips etc.
Well let me know what you think.

hi nice clean build

the comments;

Where are those bags attached? (the ones on the roof)
It seem they aren't attached to a rope or something else.Same problem on the ammo trailer.

The paint chips seem a bit too random. I see some paint chips on afew unrealistic places. Paint chips appear on used and damaged surfaces. example; I see paintchips on one of the not-much-handled side panels, but i can't see any weathering on the hatch! (seems a bit weird).

Dirty-up the tarp on the roof.It's too clean to my standards. Try a few washes of burnt sienna.

I notice some seams on the tires.Remove those for realism!!

Try some washes,pin-washes to break the uniform color of this model. I also think the color isn't the right one.But i'm NOT an expert on commonwealth vehicles.

go and have a

Ciao merkava8,
Thanks for posted some larger pictures. Definitely worth the while. It's a really nice build. Great job!! I agree with lordQ concerning the tire seams and maybe a wash to bring out more details (like the folds in the blankets on the back of the truck.) It looks very nice and realistic, otherwise. Congratulations!!
Ciao for now

Good Effort. I have to agree with the others. I also noted that since the vehicle is well uese, chips etc, why ist the area under the fenders factory fresh! Get it dirty under there. Go look at a car that has just 5000 miles of road use and they will be dirtier than yours!

Mike I have to agree on the washes, the tyre seams and the dirt under the mudguards but apart from this you have certainly done the old kit proud.

cheers

As I had already said, It's a fantastic project! Very well done and painted. As part of a personnal taste I would weather it much more, but again it's personnal taste! Congratulations!
Cheers and happy modelling!
