Hi everyone! First of all thanks on your comments... and yes it is my first dio. I tried to recreate a canadian -north american lake... It's in the 1/48th scale... the plane is a DHC-2 beaver, the cabin is all scratch, made out of wood... and the lake I made using "crystal resin" colored with green glass vernish (I'm not sure about the translation)

To get the depth of the lake I worked the resin in 4-5 layers using different tonalities of green, deeper it was, darker was the layer, until almost clear resin... that's basically it.

Gustavo welcome to the family! Your skills are extremely well demonstrated in your diorama. Interesting subject. Its not easy to tackle a water scene but the water is right on, and the shading of the water is very realistic. I must say great job, you should be proud of your work. I look forward to seeing more in the future. although I think the cabin is missing one very important detail that all of those fishing/hunting camps have....the moose antlers over the doorway. LOL Great job!
