I have a picture of a M-88 holding an entire M-109 in the air, pretty impressive machine that M-88 is.

Here in Germany the M-109's would sometimes freeze to the ground during winter training. The 88's would lift them and drop them to un-freeze the tracks.

Hi Steve
The trailer in the picture is an M15 A1. That was strengthed to carry M26 Pershings at the end of WW2. and used in the Korean and Veitnam War. I think an M15A2 was produced as well and they where pulled by the M26 armored & unarmored plus by the M123 Tractors.

yup, thats the designation for the dragon wagon. but the cab the M26 didn't make it past Korea in US service, but in europe and japan they lasted forever, the M123 was used in vietnam by the US the M15A1 trailer used till the mid-to late '60s according to my references and photos like the on that started this thread stug
