Hey All,
I'm getting ready to start my DML Tiger 1 initial and I have a few questions.
1. Did any Initial Tiger's see any action in France??
1a. If so, what company would they serve with??
2. Which box style would they carry?

My last question is directed at anyone who has already build this kit. Are there any build problems I should be aware of? I seem to remember somthing about the front plate being a problem.

I appreciate any help you fine folks can offer.

The "Initial" production Tiger Is were used in Leningrad front (as correctly depicted in the DML instructions). The next batches were sent to Africa. You'd have to upgrade the kit to correctly have it in France if you want a historically correct model.

I have only seen pictures of Mids and lates in France so I really think if you wnt to build one in France ,get the new late one. Only the 501st and 502nd got the initial batch and the 501st tanks were modified for the desert campaign with the Feifel air cleaners and side skirts to mention a few differences. So out of the box you can only make a vehicle from the 502 near Leningrad.

Take it easy my friend These tracks are not bad - I'm surprised you had any problems with them, as I had none. And as far as I remember they are actually called Magic Track, not Ezi.
