Well, it looks like I never actually entered into the Quiet Professionals campaign (Man, i thought I had) so I am wondering if there is any way to get me signed up now that it is done. Otherwise, oh well...

Jacques, Not to sound like an ass here at all, but, if you make sure to write up a "dio bio" in the campaign section of the site (just click on YOUR name in the individual campaign docket), you know that little item is taken care of.

My problem is that I go through so many campaigns, adn this one was set up before the little "heads" appeared in the campaign section, that I overlooked it.

I do enjoy the campaign area to keep me up and working, it is a real inspiration to me.

No, I just wnated to know if I could get the ribbon. I built the figgie in time and such, just forgot the "formality" of actually signing up. Again, it is not that big of a deal, but I at least wanted to ask.

Why don't you post your entry under the campaign topic. When the leader asks who he missed you tell him you were left out.

Actually, the QP campaign was extended to October 31 so you still have plenty of time to sign up and submit.

Well because the campaign's original end date has passed the campaign has been taken off the sign up list so he cannot electronically add his name to the list. That is why I said to post his work and just holler when it's time to come out with ribbons

Yeah, I did list my entry under the topic heading, so it will get counted. But since the dealine came and went, and I did not actually sign up, now, since it is in the finished folder, I cannot join any longer.

You know, I am just trying to make things easier on the admin since it was my screw-up.

Guy, it is just a ficticious ribbon on a modeling website. They don't even show up currently. Is it really that important?

I don't get the whole Group Build and Campaign thing anyways.

Why don't you just talk straight to the guy who runs it (the name escapes me now) and I'm sure that he will be able to abritrate your problem. It had been extended, so maybe there is a window of opportunity for you. He could decide.

I know what you mean, but then again, all we are working on are miniature replica's of real life too...

As for the ribbons, it helps me keep producing and also inspires me to keep on joining campaigns instead of just building for myself and my customers. I guess I like the challenge as decided on by others. I also like to go compete in shows, mainly to show off my stuff, see other people show off, and if I place, well, icing on the cake.

As far as the leader of this crowd goes, yeah, I suppose instead of busting all your chops I could have just PM'd him or Gunnie...

I agree with you. The ribbons are badges of honor and commitment and a nice pat on the back, too. I, also like to have my work shown and be critiqued by my peers. That's what I like about Armorama. It's instant gratification, encouragment and advice.
