I did one of these recently, but haven't painted it yet. Very easy and fun build, no filler or sanding needed. The only problem was the individual tracks. The small ones can break coming off the sprue, and they are very tricky because of the size. No other problems, I found. Enjoy your build!

I've got both of the Revell King Tigers, the Porsche and Henschel version. I have not built either one yet. I did get the Atak resin zimmerit set for one of them too.

It's quite an easy kit, but still has a very good amount of details. I only altered the "standard errors" in that scale like handles, engine grids, antennae, etc.
Very good for beginners since you'll get a nice looking models without a lot of trouble.

For a comparable price I would recommend Dragon's T2. I've built both and prefer Dragon's. Some modellers will swear by the link and length tracks - I swear at them! In 1/72 scale they are just too small and fragile, and the fit always gives me trouble. I find Dragon's detailing overall is superior to Revell's - especially in the case of the turret lifting rings. Dragon's are separate items; Revell's are solid moulded on disks that have to be drilled out very carefully. And then there is the PE engine grills that Dragon thoughtfully provided. Beat that, Revell!!

Agree, just those freaking short tracks of Dragon's. But I don't mind the missing sag. Any idea as to when DML will release a zimm'd Porsche KT?
