Greetings, my friends...
Quick question...has anyone built the newer Academy Models U.S. Airborne Tank M551 Sheridan, kit #13011? I need to know your thoughts and comments if you have...

Check our review section. Pawel (Vodnik) did a very comprehensive review on the new Academy M551.

Thanks guys..I read Pawel's review (which is VERY good, I might add) back when it was posted, but I was curious if anyone else had any experiences with this kit...

Don't have one myself, but here is one that was built by someone else.

I picked one up for a great price at a swap meet today and I am looking forward to jumping into it...
Inaccuracies and all, it looks like it is going to be a pretty fun build --- it should make a nice diversion from my longterm project: the resin, plastic and PE Israeli Achzarit APC, which is taking FOREVER!! Arg!!
It looks like the Sheridan will go together quickly --- at least it does sitting inside the box ! :-) I think I'm going to build it pretty much straight from the box...or at least, that's what I'm telling myself (though it never seems ta work out that way in reality)!!
Thanks for posting that link to that link to the finished Sheridan, Gino. It may not be the most accurate kit on the block, but it sure looks like a Sheridan ta me!
Regards and Aloha,
Johnny B.

Looks like one to me too. I am waiting for the ODS version to come out and do an 82nd ABN vehicle from either Panama or Desert Storm .
