I thought i would post some new pictures to keep you updated on the progress, its not finished yet but i think about 85% done a few seems to fill, on top of the turret i need to replace the hinges and bolts for the hatch, i need to replace the tail light bracket its out of scale. Some of the changes are new fender brackets and bolts, i damaged the fenders a little, i made new stiffining ribs for the tops of the fenders the ones on the kit were flat they should be round, most of the bolts have been replaced and i made a new aluminium gun barrel i also added hinges grab handles and lots of bolts to the rear engine hatch, new turret ring and bolts were also added there were none on the kit. If any one sees something i missed let me know any and all comments welcome. i do have 2 problems i need at least one British tanker to go with the tank and i need some fuel cans for the stowage on one of the fenders, does any one no were to get them Thanks.

Great Job on the valentine! Your really showing your talants with this one. The add ons are well done and look to be consistant with scale. Nice clean job. Your a brave man putting your mirror on so early in the build, if that was me it would be broken off before the end of the build :-) .
My only suggestion is for a muffler guard, seems to be a consistant thing according to my reference pics
Look forward to seeing more pics

Mate I enjoy watching a good modler at work. This is a fantastic job you are doing and I for one will be watching to see it finished.
Brit POW cans are easy to scratch. If you want the measurements PM me as I made some for my Chev Heavy recon wagon and also for the Chev indian style ambulance I did
Cheers
Cliff

Thanks Bruce i didn't put the muffler guard on yet because its going to be made of lead foil which is very thin and easy to damage and first i have to paint the muffler nice catch though, thanks Derek i will check on the price of those fuel cans. Thanks Cliff i am glad you like the build so far, i still have a few item to go like the blade site on the turret roof but i am almost there, i will pm you about the specks for the fuel cans if you have a picture to that would be great, thanks guys.

John for the Engine hatch i used .020 sheet styrene i used the 1 piece kit part as a template traced it and had to make corrections because it was a poor fit, the hatch is laminated in 3 layers 1. the base the large flat area most of which is covered, 2. 8 thin strips of styrene for spacer which you can't see, and 3. the 8 wider styrene strips with all the bolt heads is the top layer. All the grab handles were made with jewerly beading wire i am not shore of the gauge i think its about 26.
