I have used the chart on this forum to convert my tamiya dark green and red brown to the same equivelant of Humbrol enamels. The problem is no conversion on the net goes up the latest Tamiya paints. I need Nato brown and black in Humbrol enamel but which Humbrol is the same or the closest match?
The reason for this is that i wish to hand paint my NATO paint scheme and i find tamiya paints to be at brush applying while humbrol are great!
Appreciate a reply ASAP if possible!

for nato brown, I'd probably use 29 dark earth. while that isn't the same color as tamiya nato brown, it must be said that tamiya nato brown is far too red. From what I have seen, humbrol 29 flat dark earth comes much closer to the true color.
For the black, I'd use 112 Tarmac.
hope this helps.
Oh, revell does have the correct colors of bronzegreen, leather brown and pitchblack btw.

How does revell compare to humbrol in terms of brush aplication? Thanks for the humbrol conversions! If revell is just as good for hand painting and have more accurate colours then i will go for them!

I am a brush painter, not an airbrusher, and I haven't used the revell colours for airbrushing yet.. but with a brush, they work nicely, and leave a nice matte finish.
However, once a tin is opened, revell paint has the tendency to thicken over time, making it unusable within weeks.
