Ola

Here it is, its a project for my article in local Hobby magasine.

First of all, BEFORE all of you start criticise me few pointers...

- This is supposed to be article for beginners
- Thats why i used only brushes for painting, revell enamels, simple bas e and simple mud. No extra detailing, few errors etc.. dont want them to abort the hobby but to see its possible to do it simple and easy but still decent. ofc i could add/scratch many details, add static grass etc... but they cant buy it here and certalny cant use it right.

My next article will be much more demanding for them.

pictures

cheers
Mirko

Hi Mirko,
It is great to see this job finished. Congrats. It was really hard to say something when you've posted the unfinished diorama. But it is now all clear. Very nice diorama. I just have one thing to say; the tall grass behind the tank is very lonely and at a very middle position. It took my atention.
Hope to see the article as soon as possible.

Mirko, you have realy done it. This looks great. But 4 more mistakes?? Where? I can't find anything I would call a mistake. I did notice the clump of grass behind the Pzr I, but If that was bend down in the direction of the tanks travel, it would be fine. I guess the rocks and tree stumps could be sunk into the ground a bit more, but from where I'm looking, they don't look like mistakes to me.
Or is it the crew mans haircut?

Very nice, the article should be a succes.
Looking forward to the next artikel already

Cheers
Henk

Mirko, I love the desolate feeling you get when looking at this. It is well done. I have to agree about the grass though it seems a little odd, maybe shorten it and add just a few more clumps. As for your article, congrats you have done a fine job. Cheers Kevin

Creative of u to teach beginners to make dio by "spotting the mistakes". The grass is quite obvious, but I can't find any other mistakes?..There's no tobacco in the pipe? :-)

Great job Mirko, I specially like the thank and the lonely feeling of the guy As for more "mistakes" there were 2 things that grabed my attention:

The trail left by the tank looks weat and muddy but the tracks look full of dry dirt.
The rock in the front looks like it has not been painted.

Happy modelling

Looks good to me also Mirko. The mistakes cannot be that obvious. The more I look, the less I see.
Is the jerry can a mistake? Not often, they are seen to be transported on their side .... do they leak easy or is it blocking the air-intake?
Maybe the tank being buttoned up and figure outside. If he went out to stretch the legs, why would he button up the tank after him?

Wow, a very basic and neat dio, perfect for the youngin's and beginners, I did notice that the third tracklink from the front right drive sprocket is on backwards... :-) KIDDING!!
The pipe the tanker is smoking is a nice subtle touch, nice groundwork as well, no need to mention 'bout the grass, overall, very nice!

Very nice! Turned out well from your progress pics. The weathering on the tank looks better and the groundwork more defined.
great dio

Firts of all thank you all for kind replies!!!!

Hmmm, okay, ill give away few mistakes which i made on purpose.

1. The tall grass
2. Too much mud on the tree lying on the ground
3. Rust on indler wheels
4. No dust on antena holder behind the figure
5 . No mud on right track on place where it meets ground behind the tall grass
6. Dry mud on tracks instead of wet which should be there
7. Very bad name plate

Well, they need to learn they cant make everything perfect first few times? thats what i guessed when i wrote the article

P.S. And by the way, the whole groundwork is a little too big for one fig and a small tank? I think so but i wanted it that way

Ahoy Mirko!

Congrats on you Dio with all the "mistakes" and all!
It turned out great! But...

Question:
- Are there any footprints in the ground?
From the Pics I can not see - it would be a nice detail, and it would not give the looks like he has just landed there "stiff"!

Keep them comming!
