That's a fantastic dio. I like the broken swing set. Not often is a swing a detail found in dios. I do have a question about the second floor windows. How would they nail the boards from the outside?

Your figures are both excellent and an inspiration! How on earth do you paint such fine detail for the insignia on their uniforms?

Very nice job, the little details, such as the swing and other assorted items in the rubble are good eye candy. Excellent job on the figures as well.

Olá Antônio, asa I said in the portuguese forum, "what a wonderfull dio I made!"
I was looking for those hidden details, specially for the spent cartridges rounds of the MG splittered on the floor and ruble, very nice touch indeed, but how the hell did you make them? They look so real!
Great job, keep up the good work!
Cheers, from the brazilian community

NIce dio...one critique...what color did you use for the uniforms? It looks as though you used the same color for both the uniforms and the wood trim on the buildings. IMHO the uniform color is much too vivid/bright.

Bloody amazing, Antonio! That is one superb dio. You've put a lot of work into it, and it shows. I agree with the comment that the unis look a bit too green. Also, I notice that the fig sitting on the sandbags has an MG34. Wouldn't an MG42 have been more likely at this stage in the war? Good work, though, mate. I love it.

Just a suggestion for next piece-try not to have roads and the model parralell to any edge -just something my art teacher taught me and something you will often see in a lot of good dios
just a thought my friend

Thats a great dio with excellent attention to detail,i like the bulletholes a lot. Just a suggestion, how about adding a Kubelwagen or something to it,like an envoy officer from another division? But there's one thing i didnt get, how did those guys nail floorboards to brick walls? I cant mallet a nail into a concrete wall, not to mention brick walls. Why dont you make a windowframe in the windows and nail those boards to it? That would be logical.

That's a good looking dio. Apart from the comments on the boarded windows etc that others have made I'd have though that the flag on the Panther's side would make a great aiming point? But then it does serve a purpose - it catches the viewers eye!

Looking good!!

All the small details all over the place, keeps your eyes focussed on the dio. Like said before, next time lay your road under an angle so it is no longer parralel on the edge of the dio..
One small nitt-pick: The edge between the grass and the cobblestone road is a wee-bit too sharp. Grass tends to grow very quickly between the irregular formed cobblestones, so in my opinion it should be blended-in a bit more.

Just my two cents, John.

Hi Antonio!

I'm not a diorama specialist but I can say this one looks fantastic! The pictures you have taken are amazing! Did you use a digital camera? What camera is it! The pics are really top quality and sharp! Excellent!

Hi
Looks very good to me.
I love the overall dust in the scene. I've only one thing to say.
The tree looks to me unrealistic, I think you have to spray it in different colours for some contrast.

Great job!!

Lots of work went into that! Can't wait to see what you do next. My favorite pic is the 4th one down, I love how you blended the grass into the debrie without it being to over stated.

First of all, thanks for the comments!! I took note of them and I´ll see what I can do!

Shermies-OPS! My mistake!noticed that only when I finished the dio...I´ll try to remake it
Ripster-Lots of patience,a toothpick and a 00 and a 000 brush!
Max-The belt came with the kit! Every Dragon kit that includes a MG42 or 34 have one of these
Generalrazo-I´m thinking of dust them a little bit more.thanks for the tip
Spooky6-I was short from a MG42!!But the MG34 was used till the end of war,I think
Fanai-Thanks...it would reaaly make a differnce...next time I´ll certainly do it!
Vladvokov-I]´ll try to fix it!
DaveCox-I faced this dillema too!But I choose to put it to "catch the viewers eye"!
DragonWagon-Great tip!I will fix it!
TedMamere-Thanks! I used a Sony Mavica 5.0 Megapixels(I took the photos in high resolution, with the "Macro Zoom" on)
Hilbert-Thanks for the tip!

Thanks for all the other replies, guys!

I think he's right. In dioramas we have to try to avoid the lines being parallel to the baselines. It's just a thought, but a good one!

Keep up the good work.
