Does anyone know if Osprey - Modelling and Painting Figures by Jerry Cutts is a good book for a beginner that wishes to learn a good way to paint figs ?

Im not sure about the Osprey range but i recently purchased this paperback and found it really useful in terms of painting figures both using acrylics and artist oils.

How to Paint Realistic Military Figures (Paperback)

There are lots of photos showing the progress as you go through each step which is something i need.
