Looks like you have to construct a base like a lot of other wargames. But I dont play so I'm not 100% sure.

One of the expansion packs says :

"Diorama & other accessories not included."

So I think Shain is right.

i have an italeri set with the battle of kurskand there i got a base
so i think you will get a base
