Bren,

I'd say do 'em up like WW II but not so much. Later in Korea after the fighting stabilized around the 38th they didn't need to carry much. Tanks just became mobile pillboxes.

After checking both Shermans in action and Armor in Korea I found only one picture of Storage about the same as WW2 on a reworked M4A3 from A co 89th tank Battalion . Basically fuel cans at rear and track links side a few tarps thrown over the rear.
Have you looked here http://www.army.mil/cmh-pg/reference/korea/kw-remem.htm

As Salt6 stated, with the exception of the breakout from Pusan and pursuit to the Yalu, the front was relatively stable and there was little need to carry everything on the vehicles. The items could be stashed at the company HQ. Tankers had carried the same things forever, rucksacks, sleeping bags, extra water cans, and before diesel engines, extra fuel cans.

Let me second Jeff's (sgtreef) suggested Center for Military History link. Be sure to check out the images under the Engineers in Korea link. There are some great dio ideas in there involving M4A3E8's in precarious predicaments.

I have seen them done up a number of ways, most of it for the season on which they were in. I have seen photo's with logs on there sides and across the front.
