Latest work to my 1/87th (HO) scale Roco Miniatures Leo2A4 and A5.
Made some decals using Testors Decal System.
They work better then expected. Went on pretty well with MicroSol and MicroSet.

Drybrushed light green, dark gray, and tan. And added the antennas.

All that is left is some weathering. Maybe a little dust to the running gear and lower chassis.

What do ya think?

Keith, my apologies that I didn’t see this earlier. The Leopard2s are coming together nicely. The painted running gear looks nice.

Only critic I have is that they need a wash of dark brown or black, to bring out all that lovely detail that is lurking in the background. Afterwards, maybe a light dusting of Tamiya buff or beige to blend the camo.

Eric,
Now I'm the one who's slow on the uptake. On my own thread no less!

Thanks. The treads were a challenge to paint. I ended up using a thin strip of masking tape dwon the center of the visible links to paint the sets rubber blocks.

I was going to cover most of the tracks and running gear with a layer of dust, but I didn't want to cover that previous work so I went back and painted the rubber on each roadwheel! And now I am blind.

I did do a dark wash. It may have been washed out by the camera flash. And there will be a light dusting of sand on the running gear, lower chassis and skirting.

Thanks for looking!

Keith
