Heya, folks,

I'm finishing up my Academy Sheridan and thought that I might try to scratchbuild the flat plat Commander's forward gun shield instead of using the ACAV gunshield provided in the kit.

I have both the Hunnicutt and Squadron books, but what I am hoping for are some close up pictures or plans, particularly side angle shots...

Anyone have any pix or plans...?

And in case you're wondering, it does go together pretty quickly (there are a few fiddly things, of course) and yes, I am adding a few minor details here and there, but am definitely NOT doing any major corrections. I can live with the kit's faults, because, as annoying a they are, it looks like a Sheridan to me! That and it's nice to finish up a model relatively quickly for a change!

Any help on images of the flat plate gun shield --- which sure looks cool --- would be appreciated!
