I have a Tamiya Mid Production, but no road wheels. I have a set of steels and was wondering if they can be used or no???
All advice is appreciated!

Well not really unless you want to do a few changes to the basic kit ...it need the hull extentions cut out on the front ...you would also have to scratch a turret ring guard unless you are doing one of the 27 tigers that had SW but did not have the guard (but there were 27!) Probably tanks with 505th got the earliest late models...Also forget the travel lock.. but other than that well it could be done to show an early late...

Thanks very much to both of you! I'm not well versed in German armor. I will just dig up a set of correct wheels to replace the lost ones.

You can use the steel wheels with the earlier hull.
The wheels were in fact interchangeable and one Tiger captured in Italy had rubber wheels on one side and steel on the other!
Late war conditions saw lots of combinations of marks to get a serviceable tank and there were even early dustbin coupla Tigers with steel wheels.
