I found a suitable homade material for use as low grass for my dioramas! I used a sheet of, fabric softener. In my area they sell for about $3 for 40 of them. All you have to do is glue is to the area you need the grass or dirt (i have'nt tried that yet) and paint it thecolor you want. I used a sheet and Model Master Acryl 'Marine Corps Green 1/2'. I hope this helps some people and I'd love to hear from some people who like my idea or may use it!

Would need to see pics of it. It doesn't sound too convincing to me.

well i cant get a pic right now but you can try it out on a small peice of fabris softener.

Yes, I also definately need pictures to create me an image. I searched Google for fabric softener, but the only thing I got was cans and boxes.... no images of the actual product, so I haven't got a clue what to expect.

The only fabric softner I know is the stuff you put in the washing machine to make everything smell nice... if you don't have a pic... how about a link?

.... Thats odd, theres no pics of fabric softener sheets.. Well I'm using it for a campaign so ill show you the colored sheets when im done, they have a long smushed grass look to it.

I know of dryer sheets, but none of the ones I've seen looklike grass. Which brand do you use??
