Well, I'm going to have to take pics outside during the day. The flash washed things out a bit and no flash is too dark. So when I do take better, final pics, do I post them here? Or is there a special place to send them to for the campaign?

Anyway, the model is the 1/72 Tiger II Henschell turret from Revell and it's sitting Verlinden's Breaking Through II resin base.

:-)

Looking good Tim...
What I think you could do more is to add more rubble... and on the tank too!

Nice beast! It makes an impressive diorama!
Hard to tell it's 1:72.

That’s some really talented work you’ve done, hard to believe it’s 1/72. The ‘Breaking Through’ scene shows it off nicely.

Looks quite impressive! Like said before it's hard to believe its 1/72.
The only thing I managed was... There are not many bricks...
Or wasn't it a large wall of bricks?

Still looks cool

Agree, particularly on the vehicle, and maybe a couple of dents/dings in the fenders. Overall, though, it's a great job, especially for small scale.

Thanks guys. As for lack of rubble, the diorama came that way. And yes...it needs more bricks and such, going to have to see about that and mabye figure something out for the fenders.

Impressive!

Its really hard to believe the model is 1/72 scale.

If only you add in some figures, it will complete an already awesome dio!

Great tank and dio Tim! I like the weathhering very much, you've done great job! I've one question: are the tracks one piece vinyl / rubber bands or a indy links?

Cheers

They are indy links...and very fun to put on (I had better stop with the sarcasm here). It's Revell's kit and was pretty easy to build, but the tracks are...well, let's say they are fiddily at best.

The weathering was done with MIG powders and Tamiya's new weathering sets. Oh, and various oil washes and filters.
