Does anyone have some good photos or know of where i can go to view the details of the top of the hatch..specifically the gunner mount rings with the hatch folded and so forth?

Yes, welcome to the site, first of all. If you click on the "Gallery" tab and pick the Major Rob's Motor Pool link, you will find a walk around of a HMMWV with the photos of the gunner position and more photos than you will need of this vehicle.
