Hi all!
I'm thinking of building a diorama depicting the scene from SPR where the German vehicle gets taken out by the 101st Airborne soldiers hiding in the grass field.
However, I'm not sure what vehicle was used by the Germans, any suggestions?
TIA

Hello there Quintin,
there scene where Ryan and his gangs put out the half track was very fast.... it was german haltracks but i didnt quite sure the exact type..but my guess would be sd.kfz 250 or sd.kfz 251...

It is definitely ment to represent a 251 neu I think it was one from after the war built buy one of the eastern block, The sides show it is the later version that has the flat back also you see fleeting shots as the german infantry attack the town - same vehicle -will also check friends book from the making of the film
