Hi Gang,
I'm looking for reference pics of the MG mount of the Schwimmwagen, and, if possible, the MG support strut....
TIA John.

To start with:
http://www.panzer-modell.de/referenz/in_detail/schwimmwagen/03g.jpg
There is a reference site which has a series of photos of just the MG mont on a schwimmwagen.
I can find it now (at work), but I'll try to find it at home.
Cheers,
Pascal

This is I think the correct link, but somehow the web site cannot be found. I don't know if it will be available later. I hope so, meanwhile sorry I can't be of more help.

...and has some great pics of the MG mount down at the bottom. Here are a couple...
There's also a site by David Williams. He does a great build of the Schwimmer, but he also has a detailed reference page and pics and drawings of various parts. Here's the beginning page, which is the reference section...

Here's his MG mount details page...

On it, you'll find lots of information as well as this great drawing he did...
While I was looking around, I found this site which sells parts for Schwimmwagens and Kübelwagens. Just in case someone just happens to need a real MG mount, here's the site...

Probably not the OP, though.
He's likely finished the project over the past 15 years.

I know you're making a joke because a lot of guys drag these things out, but I have built 88 kits in the last 8 years.
