Hi,

I am looking for some info (pictures mainly) of the following:

Prior to D-day the allied have put a lot of wooden tanks, trucks etc. on the English countryside to give the German intelligence service a wrong picture of the quantities and of the location where the Invasion build up took place.

I see a potential diorama idea in here and I am searching the net for some pictures of these dummy's, but unfortunately I don't seem to find them.

Has someone a idea where I could find this info?

Tnx

#:-)

Hi!
I saw one photo somewhere in my references of some dummies tanks, some german and some allied, the allied if I´m not wrong was like a ballon, I mean, they were air inflated...
I guess it was a pic from a very old Time magazine (from the war time).
I try to find it for you...
Cheers
