The magazine Squadron #31 Amtracs in action has a few pictures of the LVT-3 and the LVT-3C if you can find it and it includes a sketch of the LVT-3 that you could scale up and convert it to the LVT-3C, thats how I scratch built my LVT-3. Check my web page out.
