Hey all

Im currently mid way thru building Dragons 3 in 1 Tiger and im going to be adding a crew to the kit, probably one of the 'Tank crew at rest' sets available.

My question is did GermanTankie uniforms stay the same, or were they adapted to the area, or season like most other uniforms? I ask because im setting the diorama im putting together in early '43 (jan/feb) and would like to know if tank crews wore winter smocks or just stuck to the standard kit?

Hi Aaron...Well the uniform did change a bit during the war ,but if we are talking about winter uniforms for tankers ..they used the same uniform as the rest of the army (reversible white and camoed two piece uniform)or whatever they had sent from home to keep warm...

Jaguar has a nice set "winter tiger crew" wearing the reversible two piece winter uniforms.

Hey thanx guys.....ill have to see what i can rustle up - perhaps a bit of a mix of uniforms?
