That's an amazing Shermie. How did you get the paint to ripple like that?

Hey Mike glad you like it!
The ripple effect is the actual surface not the paint (I think that's what you're looking at) The kit has some texture on it, wich I have greatly accentuated with liquid cement... This may be further enhanced with the fact I painted it with a couple of coats of pastel dust (mixed with water in to a paste) then sealed with a clear... After this I lightly sprayed highlights with Tamiya OD spray can colour (I haven't an airbrush!) For the pic results... From here I will add some dirt/grime and some fuel stains etc.
