Does anyone have these airbrushs or airbrush and what you think about it and are you HAPPY :-) you bought it.

I have come across a book from Osprey about how to use a airbrush; my question is what each tamiya one has. I tried to find reviews about these types but I get nothing but what tamiya says about them.I am also tring to find out about if the airbrush fits my badger model 80-2 compressor.I have one from badger that I use for base-coating but nothing for that tightly fine line for fadeing and such.

The Osprey book says this Spray-Work HG Airbrush Item #74503 is good for modelers. Would this one do both for me the base coat and the fadeing of fine lines. I was wondering if it has a lid also.

The Osprey book says this Spray-Work HG Super Fine Airbrush Item #74514 is good for modelers. And it works better with ink instaed of paint , but still can be used with hobby paints. Would this one do both for me the base coat and the fadeing of fine lines. Or is it made for small lines and fadeing of 3 color camo. And it would not be good to use for painting of my base coat. I was wondering if it has a lid also.

Hi Tom ...I have the Super Fine and I love it ...Easy to clean and have never had any problem spraying paint with it ..Just make sure you thin your paint well and everything will work fine . I do both fine lines and base coats with it ..it might take a bit longer but ..I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I suggest getting the metal kinds instead of the plastic tamiya airbrushes. Plastic makes it rather difficult to maintain. As for the trigger action airbrushes from tamiya, I've got one and it didn't really last that long. :-)
