Here is my finished entry for Hastings to Bosworth field.

The figures are 54 mm from Pegaso.

The base plate is mdf, painted with spraycan crackle paint.
The ground work is wallspackle, a little bit of kittylitter, chunks of plaster for rocks, bristles cut from an old paintbrush for grass and a twig for tree. All (Except the tree) painted, washed and drybrushed with enamels.

The figures are painted in Humbrol enamels, Vallejo acrylics and W&N oil's. The dry transfers are from Andrea.

This is my first attempt at this scale and I love it.

Hope weve see more from you in this scale then.

Is it supposed to depict any special historical event?

Cheers

Very nice Jesper,

The nights look great and the groundwork.
Nice idea with the crossing of the line. I wouldn't argue with them :-)

Vic

P.S. Mine should be ready over the next couple of days.

Very nice, almost reminds me of King Arthur and the Black Night squaring off from Monty Pythons Holy Grail :-) :-) Nice work. "Q"

Looks brilliant Jesper! It's all come together very nicely.

How did you do your chainmail?

No. Just an idea, I got, when browsing the Pegaso catalogue.

How did you do your chainmail?

First I painted the chainmail, with Vallejo flat black, then I used a silver pencil to rub of some of the paint.
I then dry brushed the chainmail, on the black knight, with various shades of raw umber and burnt sienna oil's. Not all over, but just a little bit here and there, to make his chainmail look more worn, then that of the red knight. It doesn't really showe, in the pictures, but they are quite different, from each other.
