Ok, I have to admit that the last Sherman I built ended its days in the backyard, 25 years ago, stuffed with firecrackers while in a fierce fight with a dinosaur, some plastic soldiers, a firetruck and the neighbours cat.

I am not very much into building WW II stuff, but since I have this vehicles parked outside my office, I thought I could post them on Armorama. It is a 105 Howitzer on a Sherman chassie (and it works!!! It was driven into its current position). I'm sorry but I don't know the correct name. The second vehicle is a M-24 Chaffe (Whitch you of course allready know). Both hav been used by the Norwegian army.

Since I am a very nice guy, I will take more pictures of them if anyone would have som reference pics. Just PM me, and I will fix it.

Erik,
Great pics, especially the M7 Priest. What's especially cool is the three piece differential cover and the earlier type track skids on top of the bogies. I'm sure Mike Canaday or Kurt Laughlin would have the proper designation for them.

I guess the M24 Chaffee is one of the few that didn't get converted to a NM-116.

is it possible for you take photos of the interior of the M7?

i am curious as to what kind of office you work in that they would have rolling armor parked outside!

I will try next week to make a "walk around" series on the M-7. The Chaffiee is empty due to the international CFE agreement (How many tanks, aircrafts, artillery pieces etc. a country is allowed to have.)

Well, for the skid, there would be a part number, but that just Ordnance gibberish and not really useful. to me, it's 'the part which is not available in any plastic Sherman kit' ... seriously, this is the only skid option not marketed so far.

One interesting thing about the M7; its tracks are put on backwards ... wonder where they got that info from

Hello Roy,
Seeing that you're from Norway and into Armor I looked through your photos and found what I
hoped for a Photo of an NM-116 and even one
of an MN-118 I'm in the process of putting together
the imformation that I need to build an MNM-116.
I was hoping that you might help me with some photos that you might have of the NM-116, it would
be a great help as I was only able to find two photos
on the internet . Anything would be a big help.

I second this. Any chance for photos on the interior. People will probably look at you funny when they see this guy climbing into the small cracks just to get these photos but im sure you wouldnt mind taking one for the team.

Sorry Jeremy
There are no interior in the M-7. I was going to take some photos and was a bit suprised when I removed the canvas. It was totally empty, even the breetch had been cut of. Only thing in there were a couple of very modern car batteries.
