Hi!
I recently started building up italeri / ex-esci ford quad tractor. Instruction sheet is a crap, it has mistaken order or placing of a couple parts, so i don't give it much credit anymore. And there's my question: what colour would be painted the interior of a british quad truck in 1941 Northern Africa desert setting? Instruction reads that it should be painted pale green, but I think that maybe it would be same as the rest of the vehicle (light stone)?
Cheers
Pedro

The Italeri kit is a Chev and not a Ford.
Green is the color as only the outside was painted with the desert color in the early days.
When the trucks were rebuilt they would then have been painted in one color all over.

It's a ford, as I forgot to add that it's in 1:72nd scale
I wish I had bought chev tractor when it was available at my LHS about two yrs ago
Thanks Roo for a quick answer!

The kit looks nice while on sprues. Parts has some ejector pin marks (maybe some more) but in places in which they won't be noticed e.g insides/undersides. Plastic used is not too nice, its quite soft in fact. As I said before the instructions are crap, but if you've built the tamiya quad that should be no problem;) Fit on the parts is ok but could be better, some parts could use alignment pins like the driveshaft transmission / axles assembly. I have finished tractors chassis and assembled 25pdr and limber for now.
