I just got the kit and was wondering what wars or conflicks where they used in, and what type of things can the Faun carrier. I know they carry the main tank they have but not sure what else,

Can I put more than 1 model on the transport like a AFV or trucks and jeeps. Or does it haul anything up to it's wait limit they have for safety reason.

Where could I find a nice web site or book thats out there that gives any detail for this German STL 56 Tank Transport.

PS: I have to buy the paint yet for it but not sure what color camo patterns or base coats of just one color. Does it come in one color or does it have a 3 color camo.

The SLT 56 Faun Elephant is only used by Germany. It has been around about 10 years or so. It can carry whetever you can get onto the trailer, up to its max weight. It has been used all over Europe and in the Balkans: Kosovo, Bosnia, etc. The Balkans is the closest it has been to being in combat.

The Elefant is also in use in Poland. Whereas the Franziska (similar as the Elefant), which is the vehicle in the kit is only used by Germany.
The Franziska is a 6x8, the Elefant is a 8x8. The Elefant and the Franziska can be very easily defined by the number of head-lights. The Franziska has four, the Elefant has two.
The Elefant has cross-country abilities.
