There is not much outward difference between the mid and late version of the Jagdpanther, other than the tool stowage and the exhausts. Depending on these you may be able to call it a mid-version..
Have you got some pic's for us to admire and see if you have messed up a late version or created a beautifull mid version model..

Cheers

Nezih -

Henk is "spot on". I've got the Dragon kit for JagdPanther (Early) and there are parts in the kit for use in the Mid/Late versions. The gun mantle has "cast" version (early, though I believe Mids used this also) and the "bolt on" (Late). Not sure if Italeri kit has any of this. For the "exhaust", there is a great AM product from "Moskit" (available through Model Point, www.modelpoint.com) that makes metal, pre-weathered exhaust sets to replace your "Late" version, if that helps.

Hi Nezih,

That is o.k. as a mid version, as the tool and barrel cleaning rod tube are all mounted on the side. The only thing would be the exhausts, you have late type 'flammvernichter' exhausts, which if possible you should replace with the earlier, thin tube exhausts.
The late version had those cilindical shaped exhausts, and had the tools and tube mounted on the back, because in the later stages of the war the Germans spend so much time diving in and out of undergrowth to avoid the Allied Airforce ( which incidentaly was responsible for a much larger portion of destroyed German Armour than they have credit for..) that the side mounted equipment was to vulnerable and moved to the rear.
like this
