I have tried using vallejo liquid mask recently, but it is proving to be poor in action. The fluid does not seem to dry well, in fact it sets more like impact adhesive, plus, when I spray over it the paint/mask mix seems to remain semi liquid and does not seperate well from the underlying paint. It does not react with the undercoat but seems to turn into a goey mask/paint mix which is not lifted off cleanly with a prepared wadge of mask. Is this a bad batch, did I overcoat too soon, or is it a poor product in general? Can anyone recommend an alternative available in the UK?
