Copilot. That is a very nice looking model you have there. Somewhere I have the same model stashed but I want to do it as a 1940 model.
I was wondering how easy the turret goes together, as it looks very crude in the box, plus, does the front hull rounded section go together without much fuss following the instructions?

copilot, that looks great! What paint did you use for the overall color? I like the busted out headlight. I also like the weathering of the road wheels. Nice job. I have DML's kit No. 6205 1/35 T-34/76 and seeing your model makes me think I'm not going to be able to put off working on it much longer! Have a good one!

Thats a good build! I like the missing headlight, in the future, make sure to keep the shape of the tracks consistent though, if you want sag, the entire track has to sag, if you want tight tracks, then the entire track must be tight, wheras you hve both, just a thought

Sorry you guys for my late answers. First thanks for you all comments and critiques.
As a model requires some cosmetic surgery and extra parts to build as a 1941 model which are supplied on the box.
Ross, everything about the turret goes well. But should be very carefull of cutting the pieces at the front of chasis which will be replaced with rounded one.
Armourguy, I used mr colour paints for overall of the model. Artist oils for wash and tamiya very diluted black for filters and shadows, dry pastel pigments for weathering and pencil for metallic effects on the tracks. I believe the DML one is another great kit. Hope to see pictures of yours soon.
Tigertankman thanks for drawing my attention about tracks and comments.
Sonnyboy, it's great kit but requires some extra work. If you fell ready you could try it but Dragon ones is a really good start for russian armour.
And great thanks for Russ, Martinnnn and Simon for nice comments.

Great job copilot! I think you did a fantastic job on the weathering-and everything else as well. My only suggestion would be to paint the inside of the exhaust pipes black. Are you going to put this in a dio, or add and figures??

I love the way you enhanced each and every bolt on the armor!
What did you use to dilute your artist oils for the wash? (ie: ratio of mixture)
Its really fantastic.

Jazza I use the artist oils in two way. first one directly to surface of the tank un-diluted which I use basically four colour titanium white, cadmium yellow, burnt sienna and ivory black to fade the main colour. Second way I diluted the mostly burnt sienna and black but I don't have special formula for dilution.
Thanks for your interest.

Sorry for my late answers. my computer was down.
I dilute artist oils using turpentine which is very easy to find where the shop you buy the artist oils.

copilot,
Really fantastic job on the weathering and faded effect!
I also like the knocked out headlight. Small detail, but a great touch with big results in realism. I'd go
Thanks for sharing a really great build.
