O.k guys, here is my entry to this GB. It is a 1/72 PanzerJg. Elefant. (the pic's make it look very glossy, but it is not, it is because of the flash and I was close to the model.) I think I am going to stay with 1/35 armor because you lose a ton of detail - or aleast in this kit. So as always, any and all comments are welcome, Enjoy!

BTW: This is a semi-clean build. and my first 1/72 scale model.

Hi Anthony,

What kit is it from? Did you intentionally leave out the zimmerit? Anyway for a kit that size, it would really be hard to zimm. Very nice build..

Cheers

Thanks, I don't do zim on 1/35 so there was no way I was about to try on 1/72, and I throught that in that small scale it would be very hard to get good results.

I was just asking about zimm because all Elefants have zimms. Another thing is that there is something wrong with the accuracy of the kit....Elefants do not have tool boxes on the right side. Aside from those things, its still a very nice build...

Cheers

Since the Zimmerit would be applied second-last (just before the paint), one could strip it of paint, and cover it in Rot primer in stead...
