Hi Everyone, I am putting the peices together for a new dio and am wondering where I can find birds in 1/35th scale. I remember Tamiya making a kit with some birds, does anyone know what the kit name and part number is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kevin

Go to Michaels or AC Moore and look in thier Doll House section. There is a line of prodcuts that cover a HUGE variety of small items like this.
The Tamiya Farm animal kit has chickens.....
You can also use a bit of sculpy to scratch one pretty easily.

John at Military Miniatures Warehouse has 3 Startled quail about half way down the page. I saw these and they are quite good resin castings.

Thanks fo rthe comments guys. Shaun that is the kit I was wondering about. Scott, our Micheals here doesnt have anything like I am looking for and we dont have an AC Moore. Al, I couldnt find the quail. What was the manufacturer of them? For this project I am hoping to do quite a few birds. Crows and sparrows fit the bill but so do birds like the quail. Any one else have any ideas? Thanks Kevin

Back to Michaels you go and most of those have a wedding detail/accessory aisle. They have tiny doves in flight(no legs ) Think there are 2 differant sizes of birds.Copper wire strands for legs and toes should do it.If you want a toucan or parrot or some other exotic quacker, then it might be scratch time.Oh,Tamiya farm set has 2 geese strolling pose.
cheers
