All:
While, I know that this isn't a historic dio, I think it a good idea to point out the following 28mm fantasy diorama. I recently saw this in a gaming/modelling magazine and then ran across it again online.
This diorama has some incredible paint work detailing an On Model Light Source (OMLS). I think it would be a good example for anyone wishing to include campfires, fireplaces, candles, torches or oil lamps in a dio.

ye gods!
I keep thinking more and more about warhammer now, amazing diorama, interesting subject, and its fairly compact so it might be ideal. I guess a knight or halbadeer might technically fall under my interest of commonwealth stuff.

Got to agree its one heck of a model! The way the light is being painted to resemble the glow of the torch is real food for thought. Gives me an idea of a Warcraft 3 dio......... Haha beyond my present skills though. Think ill stick with WW2 at the moment.
