I have a whole shelf about modern armor and Chinese indigenous armor is among them. However ive never seen Modern Chinese armor models anywhere. Japanese Type 90, 96 etc... Leopard 2 A6, M1, T-72 etc, etc.. ok i have em, but thats American ,Japanese, German and Russian, ive never seen a Tamiya chinese AFV. Id like to ask, does anyone know where i can see Chinese AFV models? www.sinodefence.com is the best site about Chinese weaponry that i know of.

Oh , yeah and another question. How can i make active armor plates for the T-72M ? In a hysterical move i even thought of buying an M-60 and using its plates, but then i came to my senses.

Volkov,
Are you asking about Chinese armor models or books on Chinese armor?
Trumpeter has a whole slew of Chinese armor.

Hello Vladimir
I think you can find what you are looking for in the range of kits made by Trumpeter
http://www.trumpeter-china.com/war513/products/en_list.asp?classid=22&Nclassid=21
They have released several Chinese AFVs like the Type 96 MBT :
or the Type 83 152mm SP Howitzer :
along with some wheeled APCs, a tank transporter and a jeep...

MB makes or made a set of white metal ERA bricks. My local shop carries an old set. I will take a look for them in the next day or so.Oh , yeah and another question. Is that Type 96 released yet? I heard Trumpeter was going to make a new PLA MBT and was wondering if that is the kit.

Well, none of the shops here sells armor , but i was thinking how can i make it myself ad whether i can salvage it from any other Tamiya kit, like an M-60 or M1A Abrams or any other.

Well, Soviet style ERA armor is like red bricks used in buildings. The US style included in the Academy and Tamiya kits are tiles, thinner and bigger in surface area, about the size of pizza boxes.Well, none of the shops here sells armor , but i was thinking how can i make it myself ad whether i can salvage it from any other Tamiya kit, like an M-60 or M1A Abrams or any other.

Why not just order online. Obviously you have internet access. Is mail that bad in Lebanon?

You could always set up a pay-pal account you dont need a credit card for that and theres a few model shops on line that can accept this as payment

Is there any mailing order in which i can pay after delivery? Like i pay the Take Away Pizza guy around the corner after he rings the doorbell? Is there anyone who delivers models and i pay him cash right away?

I think your question is difficult to respond...
The COD (Cash on delivery) payment method is usually applicable in the country that the webshop located but for overseas orders, there are many payment methods without Credit Card: International Money Order, bank transfert, etc...
I am afraid that few of webshops accept the COD for overseas orders: let's imagine that the guy must pay the model kit + handling and shipping to you but you don't accept to receive the package (you pay nothing)... what next? the package returns to the guy: he must pay the return fees... Finally he could not sell the model kit but paid the shipping and extra fees.
What obstruct you to go to the bank or the post office to pay your order+shipping and wait for several days?
