From what I can tell, it looks like a good build. But like a lot of us here at the big A, you need to work on your photo skills. I'm sure someone who is a much better photographer than me can give you some tips on taking a better picture.

Heya,

It looks good from waht can be actually seen here..

One thing i would say, your base is a little too big for stug alone, its calling for some "action" like figures arround... or a smaller base if you dont have figies.

few photo tips, first of all never let the light source (window in your case) be in front of your camera, it should be behind your back, throwing light on your model. best thing is to take your model outside and than take pics.

cheers

As with the others, this looks good but could use better lighting. I'll get to that in a second. You have good colors and paint application. the weathering looks appropriate to scale.Be careful of the tracks. As they come off the idler wheel, they jump upwards in a kink. You want them to sag under theri own weight at that point.
Now picture tips.
You probalby work under some sort of desk lamp. With a digital camera, the while balance will allow you to use that as a controllable light source. I don;t shoot outside because I find that too harsh for scale photos. Go into my gallery and look for the picture I have of my "photo studio."
Use a neutral backdrop which will be less distracting to the image.
If you have a spot meter, center it on the subject so it stays in better focus.
If you have a macro seting, indicated by a small flower icon, use that for closeups. If you don't, use your zoom to good effect. Drop back a bit then use the zoom to enlarge the picture.
If you have neither of these, drop back jsut a bit then crop the picture in your photo editing program.

Great advice there Al... I have trouble with photo taking too... Lots actually

Hi James! The camo on that stug is looking good. Have to agree that the base is a little big for one tank... some figures would do the job. But the groundwork looks great!

thanks for the photograpy tips peeps, ill take a new batch of photos, i did use the macro setting, super macro i think?? (new camera
#:-) )
the base did have a small selection of americans attacking the tank with grenades and things, (not a good idea really) but they were of the rubbery kind and didnt stick to the base, the base is plaster , i pressed in the track marks with a panzer 4 (old) to get the right tread, one problenm i had with the painting is my airbrush splatterd??? witch caused a spotted apperance around some of the camo.
tahnks again,
decent pics soon,
james #:-) #:-)

What I can see it looks good.
The pics are a bit blurry but it would make a much better pic if you make the pics outside and be sure you will keep the cam still. but it is you own taste how to make nice pics.

One thing tough, The tracks should be brown and not purple red. But this might happen by the cam.
