If anyone is looking for turned brass shell casings for their Emil, New Connection Models, #3514 is a set of casings and separate projectiles. The projectiles are turned aluminum. The set is actually for the Jagdtiger, but the ammo seems to be identical to that in the Trumpeter kit. Either the two guns, although different, took the same ammo, or Trumpeter fudged a little and used Jadgtiger ammo. Whatever the case, they are very well done. I got mine from R & J Enterprises.

I have to make a correction on my first statement. The shells are NOT exactly the same size. The New Connection shells are slightly shorter but of similar shape as Trumpeter. This may be due to an error of dimensions of either company, or mabe both companies are correct and the Jagdtiger ammo is slightly shorter than Sturer Emil's. In any case the difference is almost unnoticeable, especially if you just use the empty shell cases as discards.

Biggles2. Check out what I found !

A new product line from Poland, Armorscale. Not only do they have a nice line of Aluminum gun barrels & ammo sets, PE detail sets, and Resin update sets, but they have items specific to the Trumpeter Sturer Emil kit.

Here are a couple links:
http://www.armorscale.com/products/ammo35/A35-008/

http://www.armorscale.com/products/barrels35/B35-021/

Looks like they may be a future release, but this line looks like it could be very promising.

Not sure they have a US distributor yet, but I plan to contact them to get more info on stocking their line of products.

Thanks for starting up a new Emil thread

Cheers !
