Very Nice!
One question: How did you make the snow? It looks a bit "creamy" to me. Being a "winter warrior" I have allways wanted to make a winter diorama, but I don't have the guts to do it in fear of messing it up.

Hi Erik.
Thanks for the question.Make the snow ground its a
little problem,color,texture,lights,shadows,etc.
I maked this snow theater with the following steps.
At firts, you need a Satin white paint, for decoration
(water soluble) and a tube of talk powder, put in to the
plastic glass,in this proportion, mid glass of Satin white
and mid of talk powder, mixing well, the results, that you
said its creammy,later with a nŠ5 brush,you paint the
zones that you like, before dry ,you can sprinkle with so-
da or bicarbonated powder. At the end,you must be pa-
inted with washes, some zones for shadows, lights in
other dark whites colors.
Hopping, that this method are from your interest.Prove
it !!,are very easy to do.

Thanks for your quick answere, Thomas.
The reason for my question is simple, I can't make out the vignetts time of year. Beeing some what of an expert on snow (Summer in Norway is three weeks of bad skiing... Ha Ha), I have done most of my military training under artic conditions, and it is amazing how the snow change in texture and color. I will try to illustrate this with some pictures:
This picture is taken on the 20th of October some years ago. The snow is very powdery, fresh and white. Because of the bright white color you will not get much shadow
This is just before Christmas, and the winterstorms have started. Because of the heavy wind, The snow gets transformed into coarse-grained snow wich have the same effect as sand paper on your skin. Since it usually snows very often it is still very white.
The last picture is from late april. The snow has started to melt and is very wet and coarse-grinded. The color is "blueish" and you get that crystalised effect in the morning after a freezeing night.
Three pictures do not show the full spectre of snow, but I hope they can give some sort of reference.
My point is that I think you have overdone the snow a bit. My suggestion would be to put a thinner layer on the Hetzer, because it reminds me a bit of cream from a cake, and not snow.
And there you have the reason why I have chickened out every time I have tried to model snow!
Cheers
Erik
