Does any body know where on the Italeri turret from the m1a1 kit does the smoke mortor go? theres 2 spots in front of the loaders hatch that look like they could be it. One of them is a small nipple like thing closest to the hatch and the other closer to the mantlet is cut off nearly flush. Can any one tell me which it is?

If you mean the smoke launchers, they go on the sides of the turret in front of the tool boxes facing forward, just above and behind the smoke grenade storage boxes. Not sure what a smoke mortar is on the Abrams. Here are some photos that may help. In the first, they are the items coversd with the green fabric.
